![]() ![]() On top of this are new mini versions of other Mushroom Kingdom favourites, including Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong himself. There’s also a set of harder stages to unlock separately from the main story (if story’s not too strong a word). It is noticeably harder though, thanks not only to losing control of the minis themselves but having to save them all to complete a level. All of which is pretty much how it worked in the first two games and in truth there’s relatively little that is genuinely new in this sequel. ![]() ![]() As if the Lemmings parallels weren’t explicit enough the minis have no sense of self-preservation and will happily march straight into a spike pit unless you somehow cover it or redirect them.
